And guess what? The results are in! Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s on your mind when it comes to your roles, the tech landscape, and what drives you.

Good news! 88.9% of respondents are satisfied with their current job. But here’s the kicker—over a quarter (27.8%) are still likely to switch within the next 12 months. While 66.6% of you are happy with career advancement opportunities, there’s a clear signal that the itch for something new is ever-present.

Compensation & Benefits: Show Me the Money
When it comes to compensation, just over half (55.6%) are satisfied with their benefits. But if you were to switch jobs, what would it take? Most respondents want a salary bump of 15% or more to make the leap. In an industry known for competitive pay, that makes sense!

More than half (55.6%) of you feel the job market isn't exactly tech-friendly right now. The biggest gripe? Lengthy hiring processes. When searching for new roles, your top three resources are job boards, company websites, and good ol’ networking.

AI has emerged as the most coveted skill in the tech industry. Most of you keep your skills sharp through self-study (think books and tutorials), and a vast majority are open to earning certifications to climb the ladder.

Company Culture: It’s a Deal Breaker
Culture is king! A whopping 88.9% said company culture is crucial in their decision to join a new organisation, with remote work opportunities also playing a big role. And when asked what’s the top priority for those considering offers, a large number cited company culture. Only 33.3% of respondents are truly satisfied with their work-life balance, and the preference for hybrid or fully remote roles continues to be strong.

The majority rate their company’s diversity and inclusion efforts as positive, with 61.1% saying it’s a key factor when considering a new role. Still, there’s room for improvement in creating more inclusive workspaces.
