Algorithm Engineer

This is with an Irish start-up working with some of the world’s top athletes. They make use of real-time data tracking & analytics designed to help maximise athlete training.

The job itself centres around optimising algorithms to measure athletic output from wearable signal data. There’s no hardware experience required, it’s mostly focused on real-time data processing & manipulation. There’s one other person in this position already so lots of learning opportunities for everyone. Very cool company & product, if you’re into your sports this is the one for you.

What you need:

• Experience with wearable tech & sensors are 100% must-haves.
• Algorithm development & refinement.
• Real-time data processing & digital signal processing.
• Experience or interest in the sports industry/biomechanics is a plus.

Salary:

€60-70k. Might be some wiggle room for someone really good.

Interview process:

3 rounds - quick chat with the hiring manager to start followed by a technical interview. They send out a technical test after which is reviewed in the final interview.

Location:

Hybrid - 1-2 days per week on-site in south Dublin. They’re flexible enough but looking for a bit more office time at the start.
