You’ll be sitting on top of multiple engineering teams driving the SaaS application frameworks, updates, implementation and the overall strategy. This is a very senior IC position with a crowd that specialises in cloud and network security detection.

You can create a new application that will manage the cloud offerings, and break down the data in a clear manner to show the customers. You’ll be driving this adoption and up-levelling the teams and the other senior staff members. So the soft skills will be as important as the engineering aspect.

This is a hands-on engineering position and the day-to-day may differ depending on what stage you are at. At the start, you will be meeting with the PM’s to plan the project and then spending the majority of the time with the engineering teams, who are all based in Ireland. For this position, you will be reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering

25% Up-leveling the tech stack and teams.

50% Working on solutions

Desired tech - It is a Python house so having in-depth experience with this would be a big help, although at this level the person would most likely be language agnostic. Ideally, you will have experience building distributed systems. Strong on the database and infrastructure side of things. Everything is hosted on AWS, and GCP is starting to have an increasing presence. But, they are trying to become cloud agnostic so having experience with Kubernetes and similar tech would be a big help.
