Founding Engineer - Fullstack

The founders' last company became a unicorn in 18months after launch, bringing it to 1.6billion, and now it's time to do it all over again. Completely self-funded off the back of past success!

You will join them at this very early stage, working on a wide range of projects. This lot move fast so you will have tonnes of responsibility, zero bureaucracy/layers of Eng Management , and will have direct access to everybody in the business.

What they're looking for here technically, is that Fullstack Product/Founding Engineer type. Someone very senior / IC level who may have had that exposure to life in a scrappy start up (although, not a dealbreaker), and always with the customer in mind. If you've cut your teeth in a data-centric environment before, this would also swing in your favour!

Being completely honest, the bar here will be very high. They want the very best and are happy to pay that for the right person. Now, in terms of equity, add in how early you will be getting in, plus their previous track record, and I'll let you do the math!

Tech stack : Django, React/Typescript, AWS.

Whether you're biased toward frontend or backend, this doesn't matter.

Interview process is 3 rounds (with founders) :

- Get to know each other / high level screen.

- Technical / Paired programming

- Culture / Commercial understanding

Remote friendly from Ireland but unfortunately they are not in a position to sponsor. Stamp 4 Visa or EU Passport required.
