Principal Engineer

Principal Software Engineer You will be in charge of lifting the engineering standards. Your decisions will improve this learning management system which currently has over 3 million users. This platform allows companies to train, test and reward their employees all on their own bespoke portal.

The day-to-day can vary between building out a product for internal use to expanding the infrastructure to deal with the current load. Their customer base has been expanded to Millions, so there will be lots of interesting problems to work on. They would ideally like it if you are comfortable working at this scale.



This is a hands-on position and will involve a mix between coding, high-level design conversations and code reviews.



If you have the correct tool for the job mentality and aren't tied to one tech this position would be a good fit for you. They are not bound by a certain stack so they welcome new technologies to the table. This is a language-agnostic position. It's all about scale with this crowd. Their current tech stack is Go/Ruby/AWS.



If you have experience in a data-heavy environment (e.g.Hadoop, Spark) and experience with stream processing at scale (e.g.Beam/Flink/Storm/Kafka/GCP)



You will be in charge of the engineering decisions for one group which has 3-4 teams on it.
