Senior Backend Engineer - TypeScript - 85-90k

€75,000 to €90,000 plus ESOP - Hybrid in Dublin, not remote. EU/Stamp 4 visa only

I am working with an incredibly cool start-up and this is the opportunity to get in at the ground level of a product that has a ridiculous amount of new use cases to integrate into the product too! Working within hospitality can throw up many curve balls and additional use cases have to become part of your product, it is very reactionary.

Currently there already?

Currently there is a small tech team, they are still getting to grips with their market fit, no point sugar coating this, it's very early stage and has a lot of "wear many hats" elements to it. You will be developing microservices, working on the UI, deploying etc. They can accommodate people who are a little more backend than frontend, but you will work on both.

So with that in mind they need a mid/senior engineer to join them. They need someone who can own their code end to end. No silos here! You build it, you deploy it, you maintain it.

This full stack role requires the following proficiency:

React/TypeScript (Can come from other UI frameworks)

Node/TypeScript (building microservices)

GCP (But can come from AWS/Azure too)

The role is hybrid in Dublin, 2 days a week at least. You must be committed to this. If does suit you then happy days! I really think if you're ambitious and want to get it at the ground level of something really cool then it will be a great fit!
