Senior Platform Engineer

100k to 110k FULLY REMOTE!! Can be based anywhere in Ireland.

Scenrio:

A new US company to Irish shores, SaaS company are looking for a Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer.

This company want to scale and scale fast. Their platform helps to connect academics and scientific community alike with data sources and research. But what it does truly well is helps the scientific process become more automated and making scientific research and development more agile by leveraging data centralised on one platform.

What's there now:

The Irish tech team is now being assembled, this particular hire is quite strategic, this senior full stack engineer will have to be comfortable in remaining hands-on at all times whilst getting into the weeds of the architecture. There is a larger development already in situ in California and distributed in Europe too.

What do they need?

• A seasoned JavaScript head. Developing backend services in Node and all things UI done on React.

• Cloud ready - Experience with either of the big 3. But AWS would be great
• Terraform for IaC if possible
• We like developers to own their own code end to end, so being able to design, develop, build, deploy and maintain your own code is their preferred method.

• Have worked with NoSql or traditional RDBMS.

The role is remote in Ireland but they might want you to attend some important meeting a few times a year.
