Remote in Ireland Ruby on Rails Role: 75-90k



I have some truly class role for you guys to consider.


Role 1: Health and fitness
What's there currently? A small team of engineers who are all senior level, they can only hire senior devs as everyone needs to hit the ground running. So no hand holding here.

Role 2: Finance: Larger team of backend engineers who have approx 16-17 in their engineering team. The teams are slightly siloed, so they have specific UI engineers, backend engineers and SRE/Ops. SaaS Rails platform built on AWS.

Role 3: Health and Fitness: Large team of engineers, slightly siloed too, backend, frontend and Ops. Role is a SaaS Rails platform built AWS. They need someone mid/senior with 3 plus years Rails experience to join the team and work on this class health product.



Even though some of these companies are different sizes they are all start-ups, so being accustomed to the rough and tumble of the start-up world, slightly reactionary world. Hitting the ground running is key too. Knowing the core software engineering fundamentals.


They are using a modern Ruby stack, built on Rails and they use AWS for cloud. Majority of the work will be backend focused, but UI will be a feature of the work too.



These roles are fully remote in Ireland, apart from some important in person meetings once a quarter. So if you're company has adopted a hybrid approach and you want to stick with remote then this could be a great fit too.



They have a high bar for hiring which is a good thing, as you will know your colleagues are of the highest quality.
