Senior Software Engineer (Golang or OOP Language)

You will have a chance to work on a new enterprise cloud offering. Think something like AWS or GCP. This will allow you to seamlessly integrate all your applications and infrastructure. Giving you access to your data wherever it is and the flexibility to scale when you need it. GO will be the language of choice to build out all of the microservices. But if you come from a Python Java or C background and want to move into Go that would be ok. Ideally, you will have experience with open-source technologies like Prometheus, Docker and Kubernetes. And are familiar with native/public cloud.

You will be developing complex systems that are going to help this company's customers. The work is based on long projects with average lengths from 6 months to 1 year. You will be working in 2-week sprints with your team of 6. The 1st project is going to be based on power consumption and how to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

As many of these projects are in the early stages, this is very much a new build. Yes… that “Greenfield” word is back. Your day-to-day will involve whiteboard to development, Beta testing and finally to production. Where you will see this product rolled out to the masses.

As there are 2 full teams grown out there will be a focus on communication and a bit of face time. They are looking at twice a week. There will be one mandatory day for whiteboarding, design meetings and planning of the sprints.
