Senior Software Engineer Laravel

REMOTE IN IRELAND ONLY. NO EU REMOTE OR B2B CONTRACTS.

Superb SaaS platform and really genuinely nice founder who is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help and build on their journey as they are at crucial stage of growth. What they need here is someone who doesn't need their hand held, they need someone who is going to teach them a thing or two and hit the ground running.

This particular role is within their full stack engineering team. They have a system built on PHP and you came come from any background the modern UI framework like React, Angular or Vue. They use Laravel as their backend framework and AWS as their cloud.

The great part of this role is that joining a company at this stage you will have a lot of agency to suggest changes and have a deep impact on how the platform should scale or make iterative changes to features etc. There is ZERO red tape here.

You will be working on product features from day one, you will be taking ownership of specific components and ensuring the deliverables are made on time and owning your code end to end.

Requirements:

Strong PHP experience- 4 -6years exp

Genuine full stack experience with strong UI skills

Responsive design with CSS

Strong experience with developing REST APIs and using Laravel framework.

If you have experience in a start-up environment before it would be useful but it is certainly not a deal breaker. The wearing of many hats is certainly good experience to have.
