With this in mind, with their ever growing client list, they need to add to their engineering teams to help them scale.

An important role for Expel is this Engineering Manager role within the Reporting and Dashboard team. This role will oversee a team of predominantly frontend leaning full stack engineers.

The role encompasses everything in a great engineering manager role. It has project and people leadership components to it, some high level tech arch chats with your team and leadership team etc, but you will not be coding, there are plenty of hands on deck for that.

So what they want to see from potential candidates:

• 7+ years professional experience leading engineering teams, driving high-performance, and delivering software solutions in a collaborative environment.
• Strong technical skills: You possess a solid understanding of full-stack development, cloud-based services, and software engineering standards, with experience in languages such as Go, JavaScript, or Python.
• Passion for mentoring: You’re committed to helping others grow, with an ability to provide constructive feedback, coaching, and fostering a supportive atmosphere for professional development.
• Agile mentality: You adopt agile methodologies and understand how to coach teams to enhance team productivity and project delivery.
