Staff BigData Engineer

You’ll be getting in at a pretty early stage in Ireland so you can have some nice startup vibes with the backing & structure of the full organisation behind you. You’ll be building and scaling Big Data pipelines for ad streaming and anti-fraud systems, with scalability and reliability in mind.

We’re talking about truly massive amounts of data, they aggregate data from a lot of major social media sites/apps/streaming services among many others so you can imagine the scale. You’ll be getting hands-on from a development point of view so you’ll need to be confident in your coding, with that in mind..

What you need:

• Java, Scala, & Python.
• Familiarity with BigData stacks - HDFS, MapReduce, Kafka.
• Strong Spark, if you have Flink that would be a bonus.
• Production experience with AWS or some other cloud.
  

Salary:

Around the €110,000 - €130,000 mark + 10% bonus + shares. Some wiggle room if you tick all the right boxes.

Interview process:

3 rounds - first round is a high-level screener. Then a take home test followed by a technical round to go through your solution. Final culture fit chat at the end.

Location:

Hybrid in Dublin, they are pretty flexible on this side to be honest, they can accommodate remote if you’d prefer.
