AI Product Engineer

Build the tools, see people use them, and have a say in what comes next.

This role suits someone who has spent the last few years building with React and TypeScript and wants more ownership. You will join a very small team with a big opportunity to shape an internal software capability.

You will bring scattered documents, information and everyday workflows into one useful application. The goal is to turn manual processes into tools that save people time, using AI and automation where they make a practical difference.

You will work directly with the people using what you build: understand the problem, help decide the approach, write the code, ship it and improve it.

The immediate focus is desktop applications for internal teams. Longer term, the ambition is to develop a customer-facing product, with mobile potentially further down the line.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build desktop applications for internal teams
• Bring scattered documents, information and workflows into one useful application
• Turn manual processes into practical tools using AI and automation
• Work directly with end users to understand problems and improve solutions
• Help decide the technical approach, write the code, ship it and iterate
• Work alongside the Lead Developer and take on increasing responsibility
• Help shape how the product develops over time

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Strong practical React and TypeScript experience
• Ideally around 2 to 5 years building and shipping software
• An interest in applied AI, integrations and workflow automation
• Care for how an application works once real people depend on it

Useful but not essential:

• Rust
• Tauri
• Previous desktop application experience

These can be learned on the job.
