This is not a traditional company secretary role. This is a high-trust, high-authority position at the centre of the business, ensuring that board decisions translate into execution across technology, product, finance, and growth.

The Role:

As Executive Governance & Strategy Officer, you will act as the connective tissue between the Board, the CEO, and the C-suite.

You will own follow-up, accountability, and structure across executive decisions. Every board resolution, CEO directive, and strategic initiative will pass through your oversight to ensure clarity, tracking, and delivery.

This role requires executive presence, maturity, and confidence. You will challenge, escalate, and enforce accountability when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Owning and maintaining the Master Resolution Log across Board and executive meetings.
• Tracking every action item, commitment, and deadline agreed at leadership level.
• Proactively following up with C-level executives to ensure delivery.
• Escalating delays, risks, and governance gaps to senior leadership.
• Developing and maintaining an Executive Scorecard tracking KPIs across Tech, Product, Finance, and Growth.
• Monitoring implementation of strategic initiatives across departments.
• Preparing board-ready briefings, executive summaries, and high-level presentations.
• Supporting special projects such as license applications, fundraising preparation, or geographic expansion.
• Maintaining governance calendars, documentation standards, and approval workflows.
• Acting as a central communication hub across executive leadership levels.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Around 7+ years’ experience in executive coordination, governance, strategy, or similar leadership-facing roles.
• Strong executive presence and the confidence to operate at Board level.
• Structured, disciplined mindset with high attention to documentation and accountability.
• Proven ability to drive follow-up and enforce deadlines across senior stakeholders.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated environments is advantageous.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Based in Bahrain.
