Overview
This is a senior infrastructure delivery leadership role based in Galway, with a salary up to €137,000, a 15% bonus, and a hybrid model of two days per week in the office. The remit is global, covering private cloud, data centre programmes, cloud migrations, and enterprise infrastructure supporting large ERP environments.
The environment operates large-scale enterprise infrastructure across multiple regions and is investing heavily in private cloud platforms, data centre transformation, migration programmes, and operational resilience. It is complex, highly regulated, and focused on delivering secure, standardised infrastructure services at global scale.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead a global team of Programme Managers, engineers, and architects delivering private cloud, data centre expansion, migration, and consolidation programmes.
- Own a portfolio of concurrent infrastructure projects, balancing priorities, budgets, resources, risks, and delivery timelines across multiple regions.
- Drive governance, stakeholder management, executive reporting, and escalation management for large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
- Ensure successful delivery of enterprise platforms supporting ERP workloads, including service readiness, migration planning, operational handover, and post-go-live stabilisation.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 12+ years delivering large-scale infrastructure, data centre, private cloud, or cloud transformation programmes within global environments.
- Proven people leadership experience managing Programme Managers and technical teams across engineering and architecture functions.
- Strong background in portfolio ownership, budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and executive stakeholder engagement.
- PMP certification and ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience supporting enterprise ERP environments such as SAP is highly valued.
