Software Engineering Manager - 105k - 115k - Hybrid Dublin



A SaaS company in Dublin is looking for someone with your skills. What skills are those you may ask. Someone who is a proven engineering leader, credible and well liked by peers, strong on the technical architecture.



You will not be writing code but you also won't be too far removed from the technical side of things either, as you will be glued to a white board a lot shooting the breeze with your team of engineers.



The technical background of the candidate is not too much of a concern, as long as you're familiar with modern microservices environments.



In the past (or maybe right now!) you will have had experience leading a team, offering coaching/ mentorship to colleagues and be able to offer guidance around their growth. When collaborating with other engineering managers in their other engineering pillars.



You'll need to understand what's feasible and scalable for the application, and will also be confident architecting new components for their product. Experience working on scalable applications and various payment process integrations will be hugely beneficial here, as is solid knowledge of software design patterns.



The BEST aspect about this role is the scope of it. Helping aid the company in revamping their entire technical roadmapping. So for you people who love the strategy side of things then this is a good one! You will be able to go through any ideas you may have and be able to stand behind them with solid evidence and rationale.



It is a fast moving role, leading engineers who work in an environment where requirements can change quickly and shipping code is main priority.
