Senior Software Engineer | Backend / Distributed Systems

Overview

This role is focused on building the infrastructure that modern software depends on.

You will help create a platform companies use to securely manage, govern and distribute the software packages, containers and dependencies flowing through their organisation. The platform sits directly in the path between developers writing code and software reaching production.

This is an opportunity to work on genuinely difficult engineering problems with meaningful influence over how the platform evolves.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design distributed systems that remain reliable under serious scale
• Move and serve huge volumes of software artifacts globally
• Build secure, multi-tenant backend platforms
• Improve performance, resilience and observability across complex systems
• Make sensible architectural decisions where there is no obvious playbook
• Balance engineering quality, customer impact and the realities of a fast-growing product
• Take ownership beyond the code you personally write
