Backend Engineer - TypeScript.



I am working with a new fintech within the ever increasing Bahrain tech ecosystem.



These guys are very slick, they have a very solid team of engineers already in place in different regions, but this is their first time going into the Bahrain market.



They are building a fintech platform that can be used for a multitude of different industries, the use cases and possibilities are endless.



They want a seasoned backend developer, this person must have experience in backend TypeScript, if your experience is more with JVM or .Net technologies then I cannot consider your application unfortunately.



So if you have experience in NodeJs using either Express, Nest etc then this role would be perfect for you. Knowledge of modern cloud environments with either GCP or AWS is high beneficial.



This platform is cutting edge, using the most latest up to date scalable tools is definitely a great facet of this role.



They have a few UI focused full stacks in the team currently, so their current need is a backend focused full stack.

React/Angular

AWS/GCP



This role is predominantly an in-office role, so candidates must be willing to travel to the office at least 4 days per week initially.
