About the Role

You’ll join a new engineering team building out digital asset capabilities for institutional clients.

This isn’t a maintenance role. You’ll be working on new products, new systems, and new financial instruments, with the backing of a global organisation but the feel of a startup team.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll design and build scalable, secure backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
• You’ll develop APIs and cloud-based services
• You’ll work closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams
• You’ll contribute to system design and technical decisions
• You’ll mentor others and help raise engineering standards across the team

What You’ll Bring

• You’ve got 5+ years building software in a backend-focused role
• You’re strong with Java, Spring / Spring Boot, REST APIs
• You’ve worked with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines
• You’re comfortable in Agile teams and enjoy collaborating
• You care about clean code, quality, and continuous improvement
• You’ve worked with Angular or modern JavaScript frameworks

Nice to Have

• You’ve used test automation or TDD
• You’ve got some exposure to blockchain or digital assets

Why This Role

You’ll be stepping into digital assets without needing a blockchain background, working on real products that are shaping where financial services is going.
