Senior Systems Engineer - Digital Assets

What you’ll do

• You’ll support a mix of cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring uptime, security, and smooth deployments across the board.
• You’ll coordinate with dev teams to deploy new applications and services, and lead incident response when things go wrong.
• You’ll own key infrastructure components, from patching to certificate management to logging and monitoring systems.
• You’ll contribute to automation efforts and help build clean, reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• You’ll also have a voice in shaping how systems engineering operates—sharing ideas, mentoring junior team members, and driving continuous improvement.

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure-focused roles
• Strong hands-on skills with Windows/Linux environments and production deployments
• Experience with tools like Jenkins, Prometheus, Splunk, Datadog
• Comfort with scripting in Python, Groovy, or shell
• Good grasp of networking protocols and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Experience with application deployment, patching, upgrades, and incident response
• Knowledge of certificate lifecycle management and security remediation workflows
• Familiarity with trading systems, order management, or FIX protocol (nice to have)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

You’ll also need to be comfortable supporting on-call and weekend coverage, it’s a core part of how the team ensures platform reliability.

About the team

You’ll join a dedicated Systems Engineering group within the client’s digital assets division, focused on building infrastructure and tools that connect institutional investors to the crypto ecosystem.
