Production Engineer - Screen Printing

Overview

This factory-based role is for someone who understands what happens between an approved artwork file and a finished product that passes inspection. You will oversee screen and digital printing in a manufacturing environment, keep production moving, and investigate why defects happen when they do.

You will report to the Printing Manager and take day-to-day responsibility for the technical quality and efficiency of the department.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan workloads across screen and digital printing equipment.
• Check processes against artwork specifications and customer requirements.
• Review printing SOPs and work instructions, then improve them when the process changes.
• Use production and inspection data to identify recurring defects, investigate root causes and follow corrective actions through.
• Work with Planning, Supply Chain and Quality to keep materials, schedules and standards aligned.
• Support and develop the technicians, digital printing operator and quality controller in the team.
• Keep safety and environmental procedures in place on the factory floor.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Around four years' relevant experience in manufacturing or production, including process engineering or technical supervision.
• Practical knowledge of screen printing and digital printing, production planning and quality control.
• Experience writing or improving SOPs and delivering measurable process improvements.
• Confidence using an ERP system and communicating in Arabic and/or English.
• A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Graphic Arts or a related technical field.
